So the update on my life begins with very sick kids. Does anyone else have this problem? Both Ported and Cash have had the flu and fevers for about five days now and are just starting to see signs of getting better. I don't think I have ever seen Porter this sick. He would get a fever every time the meds wore off and Cash would do the same but not as high. I am so glad to be over that and so is Bryan. Its gotta be hard not sleeping and working all day. Speaking of Bryan he goes in for surgery on Wednesday to fix his hand. We went and got a second opinion today because what the first doctor said and did just didn't add up, and they said if he wants to have full function in his hand he is going to have to get surgery. I will have a big job coming up with all three of my boys to take care of when Bryan comes home from surgery. Other than that we are just having fun doing what we love and enjoying the great sunshine. We will probably be home in about six weeks. I cant decide if I am excited to come home.
Oh yea.....does anyone else love American idol? I was just wondering who you all love. I really like the kid from Utah and the tattoo girl. I would love to hear who everyone likes.

of course your boys are sick...they are sick of the beach and want to come home.....after the idols sing their beatles songs tonight i will let you know who is my favorite but it is for sure a boy the girls just don't cut it for me this round
Hey! We are living in Kansas right now, have been for about 3 years. We hope to come back out west one of these days, don't hold your breath though.
k so the girl with the tattoos did so good last night!! i like the kid with the dread locks at times too...he's just different.
Sorry everyone is sick! I guess you don't think that in warm weather sickness is still floating around. Yeah, I really like American Idol and I like everyone you said, but I also like David Cook... he's from Kansas city (well Blue Springs, MO but its like 10 minutes away)
Oh and small world huh... we met Sarah (Ferreter) Oman out here in KC. They are our really good friends when they don't stink. Seriously what is that smell... :)
Sick kids are NO FUN! I love American Idol too, but I don't watch it religiously on Tuesdays because I am a Biggest Loser watcher!! Love it! So, when Wednesday's vote off happens for AI...I feel so lost...but I still watch!
