Mothers day..

I think this year I decided the mothers day is one of my favorite holidays because it Like a reward for the job i do. I remember when I first had Porter and i was staying home with him everyday, I felt like I was just a dumb mom without a life. In my softball years I was so used getting praise for how I was doing and i just wasn't getting it being a mom. Well years have passed and I have finally realized that being a stay at home mom is truly a blessing. I am here to teach and guide my children, to see all of there firsts and to comfort them when they are down. I am so glad that Bryan works so hard to provide, to give me this great opportunity in life.


Mothers day=+++ or should I say mothers weekend. Well Bryan left for a hunting trip to Canada on Saturday morning so we did the mothers day thing Friday night. I think that the biggest gift he gave me was he took the kids two days while I was coaching state softball and missed work. On Friday after the game we went to sizzler in Provo for dinner and him and the boys gave me a few gifts: a book In praise of stay at home moms by dr laura and cd and Bry help Porter talk on one of those recordable cards..... it said...."happy mothers day Luv you" it was so cute. Id have to say that I loved Bryan's card...He isn't the most emotional guy but he can really let me know in a card. it was so sweet and I truly appreciate all he is and all he does. I miss him already and its only been 2 days. duhhh

Oh yeAH I have the greatest neighbors. They brought over a tomato start and some beautiful flowers. i have never met more carrying people in my life. I am so glad that I live nest to them. they are so great and awesome grandma and grandpa for my two little boys...thank you Mike and Judy.
