So the last post that i posted was about how we got stuck in the truck....well here's another STUCK...... but alot worse. Every Sunday after church Bry and i load up food and drinks and head up the mountains for a nice drive. As you all know this week has been nothing but rain and when it rains in the mountains the roads turn to slippin slides.
It all started when we decided to try a new mountain that weren't used to going on....some of you might know as 6 mile just up from sterling. we set out about 430 and headed out. Don't get me wrong we have great time and the boys just love it. Anyways, we start driving up this mountain and it is a mess. Bryan is a great diver in the mud and it is taking him all he has to keep us going. (i was wondering why we didn't turn around at this point) but if you know my husband he is a adrenaline junkie./(crab fishermen, rodeo bull fighter, pilot, etc......) so we continued on. As we drive on we see lots of wild life and the mountain are truly beautiful after a nice rain. After about 2 half hours we make it to the top, the place we are going to get onto the "easy road" and come down fast. Well to much of our surprise the road is still snowed in. WE now have to travel down on the slick muddy roads we came up on. I, at this point am pretty freaked out, however, i keep my cool. So we turn around and we start heading down... and Bryan is giving be lessons on how to drive in the mud. Ya cool and everything until he looks at me and isn't paying attention and we slide off the road into a small river. A tree caught our fall but not until we were completely side ways. NICE !!!!!Cash freaks and Porter thinks its kinda cool. Bryan hooks the pulley and the strap to the front on the jeep and I notice that if we do that we are going to end up farther down the mountain. In the back there is a small place that we could pull out safely if we could only get it out. After a few tries and a few beads of sweat we pulled out. Bryan cinched it while I drove the jeep.
Bryan thinks that it was so fun and cool and i have differing opinions. I am very grateful we got out safe and nothing happened to anyone or anything.

Those are some good times, right there! I'm sure Cash will enjoy it more as he gets older. In a few years Bry will be heading up the mountain in the middle of the night to pull Cash and Porter and all their friends out. Just remind Bry he's the one that taught them about these good times!
